On the 4-th of December 2007 in the Secretariat of Catholic Bishops Conference in Belarus a regular meeting of the Council members on family matters took place . Priests responsible for the family ministry took place in the meeting. They represented all the dioceses of Belarus.

The meeting started with the joint prayer. The greeting speech was made by the Head of the Council Bishop Antoni Dziamjanka. Priests gave account of the work that has been done for the family development.

Various initiatives were being discussed. Work plan for the next year was worked out. It comprises the meeting of families in Trakieli, publishing specialised literature and so on. The participants discussed the possibility of quicker preparing and publishing of Catechisms for married couples, and the unified programme for the teaching of engaged couples before marriage.
