Self-denying service to Christ and the Church, untiring energy for work, devotion to human souls, mercy and readiness to help everybody – here are only some characteristic features of F. Stanislaw’s pastoral work.
He was born on March 19, 1933 in Poland, studied at the Major Seminary of priests orionists in Zdunska Wola, on August 7, 1960 was ordained priest. Then he studied in the Academy of Catholic Theology in Warsaw, received his doctoral dissertation, and during 30 years taught in the Major Seminary of orionists in Zdunska Wola.
F. Stanislaw came in Belarus in 1994. Besides the duties of dean of the cathedral church in Pinsk and pastoral work in several parishes, Êazimierz Cardinal Świątek nominated him to be chancellor of the diocese of Pinsk, dean of the deanery of Pinsk and editor of the diocesan chronicles.
F. Stanislaw is author of numerous initiatives. First of all it is spread of the cult of St. Andrzej Bobola, as well as of the Servant of God Bishop Zygmund Lazinski, in the cathedral of whom he works as dean. Last initiative of F. Stanislaw in construction of the House of Mercy for the old and the poor in Lagishyn, which will be finished soon (see photo below).
On August 7, during the Holy Mass celebrated by Êazimierz Cardinal Świątek, the Hierarch of the Church underlined the great contribution of F. Stanislaw to the renaissance of the Church and the parish in Pinsk.
Instaurare omnia in Christo! – such credo had St. Luigi Orione, the same motto is characteristic for self-denying priestly service of F. Stanislaw Pawlina.
