On January 28, 2005 in the Interdiocesan Major Seminary of St. Thomas Aquinas in Pinsk there took place the celebration on the occasion of the patronal feast of the seminary.

The solemnity began with the Holy Mass in the chapel of the seminary. The Mass was celebrated by His Eminence Kazimir Cardinal Sviontek together with His Excellence Antony Dziemianka, Auxiliary Bishop of the archdiocese of Minsk-Mohilev, as well as with other priests.

During the Holy Mass, through the intercession of the St. Thomas Aquinas, all the present prayed asking God’s blessing for the seminary in Pinsk, one of the two Major Catholic Seminaries in Belarus.

Festal music program became the second part of the celebration, during which the seminarians thanked the Cardinal for the presence and common prayer as well as congratulated His Excellence Antony Dziemianka on his nomination as Auxiliary Bishop of the archdiocese of Minsk-Mohilev.

At the end of the solemnity Kazimir Cardinal Sviontek imparted his pastoral blessing. Bishop Antony Dziemianka presented the seminarians with rosaries and Benedictine medals.
