Great solemnity took place on May 9 for the first time in the young parish of St. Anthony in Minsk. Nine boys and a girl received the First Holy Communion. Unfortunately, the parish, which has been existing for a little more then a year, doesn’t have its own place for prayer, that’s why this solemnity took place in the archcathedral of the Name of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Minsk. On that day there gathered the whole parish community as well as guests.

The parish has just begun to life. Although it doesn’t have its own church, it has sincere, devoted to Christ and Church people, it has the hearts of those children and their simple prayers which for sure will be heard by God. We hope that the city authorities will help notwithstanding and in Minsk there will appear one more church. Furthermore, there are already those who will build it and those for whom it will be built.
